Professional Bio
Charles Regan currently works full-time at Lawrence Technological University (LTU) as the Department Chair/ Program Director as well as Assistant Professor. He earned his Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from the University of Detroit Mercy, graduating in 2007. After many years of providing clinical rotations to PA students and guest lectures to nursing and PA students, he joined the University of Detroit Mercy’s PA program in 2019 as an Assistant Professor and brings his experience to LTU.
Regan is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) and the Michigan Academy of Physician Associates (MAPA). He presented lectures at MAPA in 2019 and 2020. He has worked primarily in the settings of Urgent Care and Orthopedic Surgery. At LTU he is focused on assisting in teaching the Physical Assessment course, Clinical Medicine, and the Special Populations course which involves learning about geriatric medicine, pediatric medicine, and LGBTQIA+ patients. He also assists the clinical year.
Besides teaching (and learning), he enjoys spending time with family, exercising, reading, watching and playing sports, and traveling.
