Membership Types

By applying for membership in MAPA, if accepted, members agree to abide by the bylaws and PA code of ethics. Copies of bylaws and PA code of ethics are available upon request or on the MAPA website. MAPA is organized under section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code. Due to lobbying activities, 5% of dues are not tax deductible. Federal Tax ID: 41-1312088

A certified PA within the state of Michigan.

1st Year Fellow

A first year post-graduation PA. Renews to a regular Fellow membership after the first year.

Student

Student of a Board approved PA program. One time fee for entire student status. You must provide pending graduation date to receive this multi-year membership.

A PA that resides outside of Michigan. 

Requires admin approval.

Affiliate

Any non-PA or non-PA student with a professional interest in the PA profession. This includes students that are planning to apply to a PA program. Affiliate members are not eligible to claim CME.

Any PA who has retired from the PA profession. Retired members are not eligible to claim CME credit at the annual conference.
