Ryan Desgrange

Dr. Ryan Desgrange is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in orthopaedic surgery and healthcare leadership. Holding a Doctorate of Medical Science in Administrative Medicine from the University of Lynchburg, a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Wayne State University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Eastern Michigan University, Dr. Desgrange has consistently excelled in both academic and clinical settings.

Dr. Desgrange is the Advanced Practice Provider Director for the Orthopaedic Service Line at Henry Ford Health, overseeing clinical operations, staff performance, and strategic initiatives, including telemedicine and service recovery & transformation projects. He exhibits a rich history of hands-on patient care in emergency and orthopaedic settings, complemented by a strong commitment to education as a guest lecturer at several universities.

Recognized for his contributions to the field, he has been honored with numerous awards and recently completed 2 digital health fellowships to help transcend the future of medicine. In addition to his clinical and academic roles, Dr. Desgrange actively engages in professional organizations, serving on multiple committees and holding leadership positions, including previous President of the Michigan Academy of Physician Associates, MAPA Reimbursement Chair, and Vice-Chair of the Wayne State University Physician Assistant Program Advisory Board. His publications and presentations reflect a deep commitment to advancing the field of orthopaedics, leadership, and improving patient care outcomes.
