As an Associate Professor, Practitioner, and Social Science Researcher with 20+ years of experience, I am passionate about being part of a system that focuses on team-based education, patient care, and community service for local and global impact.

☑ EDUCATOR: I am committed to innovation through course instruction, program development, and research. My passion is instilling intellectual curiosity and developing personal/professional responsibility through classroom and clinical experience.

☑ RESEARCHER: I have been honored to present my work on Type 2 Diabetes at numerous conferences. I am compelled to utilize my research to provide education, knowledge, and comfort to individuals with chronic illnesses.

☑ PRACTITIONER: I bring 10+ years’ experience to the teaching profession, having held six different physician assistant positions and been a registered nurse for 3+ years.
