2025 Capitol Summit
Join MAPA Leaders for our annual advocacy day in Lansing.
MAPA will be hosting Michigan PAs and PA students in Lansing for our annual Capitol Summit. For those who have not attended, MAPA organizes this event for Michigan PAs to meet the elected officials who will be deciding issues affecting our ability to care for patients.
PAs and students will visit legislators in teams led by PAs on our Legislative Committee and other PA Leaders. This is a time to educate nearly 150 legislators about our ability to care for our patients and their constituents. Every healthcare organization hosts events like this to lobby for their issues and their causes, some of which if passed, would have a negative effect on our ability to practice medicine.
